Diode Dynamics

Hi all,

Having an issue installing my Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro fog lights. Installed the first set and the drivers side wasn’t working. I switched the included harness with the working side to make sure it wasn’t a bad harness. Still no go.. I should have tried hooking the drivers side to the pass side to verify it was a defective light. But after I had tried both harnesses I hooked the stock fog back up and it worked. So I automatically assumed defective Dynamic light. I exchanged for another set. Same issue.. Drivers side not working. I’m puzzled since the stock fog is working.

Any thoughts?

Polarity is probably wrong, LEDs will only work one way.

 

That was totally it. And there’s even + - signs on the harness. Tells you how much I know about electrical. Should probably check to make sure I didn’t put my underwear on backwards this morning.

They really should emphasize this in the installation instructions. I'm an electrician, and this caught me off guard for a moment... a very short moment.
