I still love the Spyder headlights I bought for my Taco 5 years ago (a style offered by other manufacturers at this point). However, while searching for 2nd gen grilles, I found this website that shows a headlight style I have never seen before and can't find anywhere. Has anyone seen these and knows where to purchase? I'm thinking ahead: if I never sell my truck and need new headlights down the road, I'd consider these for a new look. I couldn't find them on the site listing the grille.

Yep, you'll find that with most aftermarket headlights. Like Tego said, you can do the retrofit which is what's highly recommended. But if you're comfy with Spyder and have good experience/performance with them, that's what matters. Usually Morimoto are a solid aftermarket, issue is they don't make a 2.0 replacement. So that'd leave AlphaRex aside from Spyder or Depots.

You know what you can do?
Make sure you have a good harness, housing, and/or bulb.
Then get whatever that crap is, and compare it. If it's not good, you might potentially be able to return it money back. And then you will know.

Generally, when people put a good projector
it's because they pick a good projector. They're not all equal. Folks do their research and see what fits. Which is a project. And that "good projector" is usually something that at some point has been chosen by OEM's for that reason. Not eBay.
    For example. Bosch AL E46 gen2/3 3" bi-xenon HID D1S
A lot more involved. Disassembling, cutting, etc.
More often done on passenger cars because they have tiny headlights that can't fit anything else.

OEM will easily outperform them all. Especially the AlphaRex (rebranded chinese crap) or Spider (regular chinese crap). All aftermarket lights will be a downgrade from 2nd Gens OEM headlights, and those particularly as well as the ones mentioned in the original post will be really awful.

Yeah, stay as far away from Spec-D as you can. They are well known for fogging/leaking issue across multiple different platforms.

Look at this thread. There are two different sets of OEM lights linked, one is the smoked lens available on the 2011 TRD Sport, the other is the Pro lens on the 2012+

Those headlights are nice and that grill is pretty cool.

I recently installed these Morimoto XB Hybrid LED Headlights and Morimoto 4-banger LED Fog Lights on my 2015 PreRunner.
They are so much brighter then the stock ones (I'm holding on to the OEM ones though).
