My suspension is going. I've done the rears with last month's paycheck because they were the worst, and now it's time for the fronts.

I got 4600s in the rear and want to do the same in the front, but am having trouble finding coils for a no-lift on my 6-lug. It seems the Moog 81104 is out of stock with no indication of more coming, and the brands on RockAuto are Mevotech and Lesjofors, which I've had no experience with personally.

Are there any other options, or will one of those work reliably? I couldn't find much feedback searching here, on Reddit, or Google for those brands as springs (but plenty of info on their control arms).

    Thanks!

I run these but you'd want this set if you hadn't already bought shocks. Give them a call or email, their support seems pretty stellar and if they don't have stock Moog's they may have OME's to fit.

I bought the same Bilstein kit that Bill has recommended to you. I like the pre assembled front coilovers. Installation was easy enough. It makes it easier to install if you disconnect the sway bar. It’s a noticeable improvement in the ride. You might want to replace the lower ball joints while your at it.

Thank you! I sent them an email, and hopefully they can sell me just the fronts. If that doesn't work out, I'm not sure I can spring 800$ for an extra set of rears and will have to look at the RockAuto springs, I guess.

I had the same question, I looked over in the 4runner forums, a lot of people are running the mevotech "supreme" line and having really good luck.

Also the "lesjofors" are suppose to be the oem supplier for Saab and Volvo. That's who I wanted to go with, they have a few 1st gen Tacoma springs, but mostly rwd only so I went with the mevotech supremes.

SuspensionLifts got back to me and they actually do sell the fronts solo, loaded. I just couldn't find them on their site. Here's the link.

I bought a pair of Genuine Toyota Parts springs in an effort to resolve my truck's roll problem. Didn't help. With the truck on the ground (i.e. not jacked up) I measured from the ground up to the highest part of the fenders before and after replacing the springs. No difference.

What helped is a cut caused by a rock on a road to Millard Campsite in Canyonlands. With 38K miles on the set of Michelin tires, I bought a new set of Michelin Tires. Go figger :notsure:
