So if you are employed, when you call in sick you stay home. When you are retired and call in sick, does that mean you have to go back to work??

I have a transport coming up this weekend to Long Island and I’m pretty sure it’s time. I believe this one is going to be my last one. It’s time for me to get things done around home go back to Thursday is fishing day and maybe camping and fishing can become a thing again. It’s something I’ve been trying to wrap my head around for a while I just don’t want to look back and say I wish we had taken the time to go do this or why didn’t we do that.

 

That’s gotta be a difficult decision

 

It has been and it’s part of what was behind my absence. I needed some time to think things through. Rescue takes a lot out of you.

Good morning everyone. I was starting to feel like a cold was coming on since Sunday evening, nothing major just a scratchy throat and some congestion. Nope- I took a Covid test this morning around 4am, then another one around 8 am to confirm the 1st results. The crud has caught up to me. I'm feeling weak/no energy and sore all over and about a 100° fever. I'm going to guess it came from the VA hospital last Friday, the place was packed. Not that it really matters, I can't go back in time to avoid the place.

 

Good morning! But I hate your sick the wife has had something for about a week. She got in a crowd as well at night to shine but we didn’t test her so we don’t know what it is but after a week she’s starting to come around.

 

I can only imagine, you really make a difference with what you do. But yeah, you gotta think about #1
