Got new tail lights yesterday. Watched the videos but can't remove without using applying a lot of force. I have removed similar style lights on my previous vehicle. My question is it has been freezing or below and and thinking it's the excessive cold and don't want to damage my original factory items. Should I just wait for warmer weather or there is another issue here? The vehicle was manufactured in Sept of 2023.

    UPDATE
I was only able to get the bottom off but the plastic piece it that holds the pin to the truck came off with it. The top one will not budge even with a good amount of force.

Well finally got it off. Parked in the sun for a while. One side came off without a hitch. The original problem side was still obnoxious. The lower black plastic retaining clip came off on both sides and had to pry it off the alignment pin. No idea why. Probably still wasn't hot enough. Installed eBay Pro tail lights. Way better look getting rid of the chrome. I needed to use the new bulb holders as the original didn't fit the same. These were pretty decent quality at least as good if not than the original Made In Mexico.

Sorry they are not Pro style lights. The ad says TRD style what ever that means but still nice looking and complementary to the overall look. IMHO better than what came with it. They were $50+ tax delivered. A couple of the supplies bulbs were defective but going to put LED's in.
