Vortex is alright, pretty good warranty but never found them to have the 'cleanest' glass

I do have one I kept and it's a good 12+ years old, beat to shit and actually used it in 3 gun so they're definitely a 'reliable' scope but I wouldn't use many of their offerings for anything over 1,000 yards

    Finally got everything together.

DD5V4 with the Leupold mk5 5-25 with tremor 3 illuminated reticle and an atlas psr bipod.

I haven’t fired it yet. I need to level and zero the scope then practice, practice, practice.

If anyone is near Prescott az, I’m almost always down to go shoot.

The Tremor reticle is a nice one for sure.

Absolutely. I couldn’t justify 3k for the scope, that price range would have put me in the arena of the nightforce optics and I would have strongly considered those. Nightforce does have a military discount but not nearly as generous as eotech and Leupold.

Oh I know, I run mostly NF but Leupold is a strong contender for sure!

I made a makeshift rifle stand to level the rifle and scope. While I was at it I leveled the scope on my ar15 as well. The only issue is that the hardware that Leupold sent with the scope mount had a non threaded screw.
