when the first 3D printed firearm came out in 2013 [Liberator/Defense Distributed] and you could basically download the files to print a gun, I quickly came to believe that most firearm laws were nothing but artificial control mechanisms.
Since you can print that shit out at home [or mill it outta real metal these days] then what is to stop anyone from making anything?
And since computer code is protected [speech] by the 1st amendment, you can't stop people from sharing the design files.
