Thanks. Bummer as they are the ones who kinda started the wedge camper trend up again. Seems like GFC became the kings of it.

What an unfortunate end to what seemed like a really good product, it sucked that he wasn't well versed in running a business, I'd have dropped money on a camper like that, and the have scammed people so badly he got banned from here mustve been some irreparable damage. Thanks for the assist guys.

    Running a business is tough.

@Newbie17. Just search wedge campers and a bunch will come up. My personal favorites are Hiatus and OVRLND.

If you want a camper style similar to the Vagabond you saw. Check out the Topo Topper Mesa, and GFC Platform Camper too.

That's some wild news about Vagabond, I almost ordered one cpl yrs ago, but never did cuz I didn't wanna wait a year on the build. Glad to see most of the camper companies production time nowadays has sped up tremendously. I personally went w/ the GFC cuz I found one used in my hometown. The GFC was like 3rd or 4th on my want list, but I love it. It's more of a utility use your truck like a truck, weekender camper style though. If you actually wanna build out the back of your truck for long term travel/living I'd also suggest the OVRLND camper.

You’re welcome. Like GFC too, but can’t get them with side windows. So off my list, in and out of parking spots that need to back out of, so a safety reason for me so I don’t run anyone over.

Super Pacific look great too, similar to Vagabond, but no side windows either.

Thanks, believe I had them in my bookmarks too.

    https://www.topotoppers.com/

Plus Lone Peak, but they look like vaporware since they keep pushing out delivery dates.

    https://www.lonepeakoverland.com/

Was looking at a non-pop up Armorlite as well.

Then there is old faithful Four Wheel Camper.

Considered a Tradesman, unfortunately they went out of business.

As one of the folks who was swindled by Vagabond Outdoors, the closest camper to the Drifter is the AT Overland - Summit, IMO.

I went to a zillion shows to look at wedges in person and the important trait that sells them over a Topo or GFC is the longer overhang, meaning you can get into and out of bed without having to remove a panel.

Insulation was also important to me, which is only an option on a few campers (including VO, RIP).

Pricy pandas, however, even without modifications.

Had a Wildernest on my first gen, loved that is was massive on the inside, no need to move a bunch of panels around, had the whole truck bed open. One person could be in bed, the other up making coffee without disturbing one another. Downside it was a bit of a sail in the wind.

One thing I did learn of having that well over a decade, don’t like the camper attached to the truck, like to run around too much, setup and tear down gets old. Rather do a base camp so going to do a trailer next.

    Looking at inTechs. https://intech.com/rv/models/flyer/discover/
