Hey guys got a quick question, probably been ask before but ,I got a 2009 Toyota Tacoma with a 6 inch lift on , I want to keep my stock rims, so right now I'm running 265/75/R16 with a 1.5 spacers in the front, can I put a 285s on tires on the same stock rim?

Yes you can, but 255/85 would be a better fit to a skinny OEM wheel. The stock rims could be 7 inches wide, so the 10.5ish inches wide tires would fit your wheels better, as opposed to the 12.5ish inches on the 315s.

Oh, and if you're truly rubbing on the 265s, the 315s will require a much larger spacer.

Ok Awesome, correct me if I'm wrong but the 255/85 are similar to 33s right? And if I go that route do I eliminate the spacers in the front, or do I have to to keep them on?

Based on the fact that your current set up rubs you're gonna need wider spacers I believe. The 255s are about 33" tall, and about, maybe a hair narrower than your current tires.
