Where did you order from? I've ordered 2 from Amazon and both have been bent on the front passenger side.

I have $530 back from my apartment move-out ... full security deposit + a few dollars they thought I deserved for cleaning up so well.

I hear the current batch of 20-year US Savings Bonds has a decent return rate ...

Well the most recent thing I did was bring it to the dealership to look at the DCM and figure out why it's failing to connect, and they somehow re-activated Entune and my AndroidAuto is now gone... Goes back in tomorrow.

But I do have about $3k worth of goodies on the way :bananadance:

Don't want to turn this into a financial thread, but. Current rate of I bonds (interest bonds) is 5.27%. The interest is adjusted every 6 months. I bonds use a combination of a fixed and adjusted interest rate. EE bond rate (20 year fixed, last 10 adjustable) is 2.70% . I bought $10K (max) I bonds @8.00% so you see how the interest rate can fluctuate. I purchased my bonds mostly as a hedge against the low bank rates but I sort of figured the rate wouldn't stay that high. I like to keep about $50K liquid in case of an emergency.
There are some pretty good online bank interest rates right now. Again, unless you lock it in like a CD, interest rates can change fast.
Disclaimer: go to TreasuryDirect for bond details.

Interesting to hear those details. I am sure someone will find it useful enough to act. I think we have too few lessons here in financial prudence and too many lessons here is financial ... er ... well ... not-so-prudent.

Still not sure sure if your wisdom is worth depriving my 3rd Gen of some goodies.:cheers:

On the weekend, I installed the Meso Puddle pod lights (with switch) and although i forgot to replace the tape over a couple holes and broke a couple of clips inside the doors, the important parts are functional.

big thanks to @pc3coyote who provided a great walkthrough document with pictures. I would have definitely felt over my head without it.

For the money you're talking about, I vote for the goodies. If it was $5K+, I'd be investing.

Finally got around to taking pictures of my partial seat delete.
It takes less than 5 minutes to put the old seat back in, even though I've never used the seat in almost 2 years.
