    Hi, I have a 2017 Tacoma SR
Anytime I apply the brakes my steering wheel, brake peddle and vehicle shake.
I have had new brakes/rotors put on, alignments checks, shocks and tires all recently. I have taken this to les swab and Toyota itself. All say they cannot find why its shaking.
I have removed the ABS fuses and the problem continued. I can't find much else to do to problem solve this.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Can you trigger ABS with a REALLY hard stomp on the brake pedal?

Yes. Last time I drove in the snow I could feel a distinct difference when abs activated vs what I feel everytime I brake.

    B_r_o.
I have new brakes and discs put on in the last 6 months. Im thinking of taking it to a different les swab and seeing if the other place actually did the work or said they did. I haven't checked wheel bearings. I'll put it on my jack tonight and see what I can feel

Just called the Les swab I went to for brakes, needed to double check they did front and rear.
They only replaced the front brakes and rotors...

So going in tomorrow to have them take a look.

The rear brake drums might be warped

Might have a caliper with a sticking piston. That could heat things up in a hurry and cause a pulsation

New rotors can be warped or glazed. With the ABS fuse pulled my money is on warped or glazed rotor.

A bent rear axle shaft is another possibility. IIRC, there was a TSB for brake shudder for incorrectly machined axle shaft flanges around those years too, but unless it’s been an issue the whole life of the truck that’s not likely the issue.

A few minutes with a dial indicator would tell the story.

Depending on miles, I'd also check the control arm bushings, specifically the lower ones.
They can be worn on the frame side causing the wheel to shake, usually under braking.
kind of a good video explaining it.

I had mine go bad at 50k miles actually.
