Bought this off a guy on CL a couple years ago. It was kinda just a throw in with some CV axles and driveshaft parts I wanted. He claimed his son had planned to do a 4wd swap on a 4runner, but totalled it before he did the swap, and he was selling all his son's "junk" left behind.

Is this the A340E or A340F? Not familiar with auto transmissions at all. Also if you're in need of one and want this one PM me. Thanks

Ok, that makes me think it is an A340F from a late 3rd Gen 4runner (like '01-02).

Its a v6 electronic controlled transmission since it has no kick down cable also.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
It's an a340f, has a 5vz bellhousing on it, I can't tell if it's an earlier or late model one. It has a lot of it's trimmings removed so it wouldn't surprise me if somebody just took the line pressure cable off but maybe it's one of the models where it's electronically controlled
