    Yet other states (from posts in this forum) have had far worse rust damage that still passed inspection...crazy shit

    I suppose that's better, they're work horses and parts are way easier to come by. Not super powerful, you'd lose your ass in fuel costs towing anything heavy but it would last well enough.

    I’d rather have that than a modern diesel with all the DEF crap. I guess a first gen Cummins 2WD dually would be ideal, but people want drug money for them nowadays.

    I'm a fan of the pre 2002 Duramax, no emissions, cheap Chevy parts when it comes to interior and frame, Allison 5 speed, decent MPG for a large truck

    Hopefully the injectors have all been replaced by now. I’m tired of having all these vehicles that don’t make me a cent.
