Going to be replacing tires soon and possibly wheels. I know the standard sizes that will fit 265/75/16 and 265/70/17. However, if I switch to a 16x8 wheel with 0 offset, will a 265/75 fit without rub? Or will I need to stick with 265/70/16

    Thanks

I know there was a recent thread on this same issue. Like in January.

Throw out a post title like "maximum offset for 265/75r16 or 265/70r17."

Someone out there has like -25 or has tried.

You'll be fine. Lots of guys running 16x8 +0 on stock suspension with 265/75's.

I’m running 17x8 +5mm wheels on 265/70/17 and no rub in any circumstances. I took off stock mud flaps though.

Ran those wheels with the stock 265/70/16 for a year before getting the tires and it looked stupid.

Perfect setup. I had the 0 offset 265/75/16 on my other Tacoma. It’s super similar to my current setup
