I have a 1999 Toyota Tacoma and I want to lower it but not slammed and I want a 3/4 drop on it. So I was told to do a ball joint flip and 4 inch blocks in the rear but I’ve seen videos and read about the balljoint flip being bad for the truck so my question is what should I do for the front?

So I did get those too, they are pretty cheap so I figured why not? Your also going to want to do new ball joints too since your in there! I always use moog since they are pretty decent. Just make sure you got the correct size drill bit they call for! Only thing I had to run out and get when I was installing. It will ride a tad more stiff than stock but it’s going to no matter what if you lower it. I also had a alignment done to my truck after since it was in a fender bender.

I'm in the market for new shocks as my truck sways left and right after making a turn. I was thinking of Bilstein 4600 but they are more designed for stock height or being slightly lowered and I'm unsure how they'll handle once I lower my truck. Why does the price differ so much compared to the DJM Shocks? I noticed DJM has a variety of size options. What made u go with specifically 13.5" in the front and 19.5" in the rear? Why not go even lower? DJM offers a variety of sizes which makes it harder to choose. I'm gonna go DJM 3/4 kit, new upper and lower ball joints, and flip lower ball joints. Thanks in advance.

So I know I could of gone lower but I know that when I’m loaded up with a Moto or two the truck is allready sitting on bumpers (that were cut) so it would be Kina pointless for me to go to crazy in the rear. I could also drop the front a tad more but wanted to see how mine sat first, I don’t hate it. They are good shocks but they are obviously not the best. Got some new 9” rota’s on it now and might drop it a touch more now I know they clear with ease. 38973D49-9E4E-4B81-A029-46BD37464716.jpg
