Hey all. I did a cable conversion for my e-locker, and wondered if anyone knew the wiring well enough to get the dash light to come on when actuated? It has a detent switch very similar to the transfer case switches.

I have an FJ case installed, and had to jump a couple wires to get 4wd/4lo dash indicators to work. I’m really hoping it’s a similar situation.
    thanks!!

You just need to ground the Blue/Yellow wire that originally went to the switch on the locker to turn on the diff lock light.

I honestly may be going colorblind- I see green, green white stripe, light green, and red black stripe. IMG_7450.jpg

I tried to ground it. Now I have ABS BRAKE skid , and exclamation point dash lights. :(
It didn’t throw any codes that my scanner can read, but I’m super bummed out. IMG_7452.jpg

No, I meant at the switch on the rear axle.

You probably blew the IG1 No2 fuse in the interior fuse box if you grounded the Red/Black wire.

Tried this, and unfortunately didn’t work for me. I’m definitely locked- the switch has the Blue/Yellow, along with a White/Black. Isn’t that a ground as well? Do I maybe need to have the switch plugged into the dash to complete the circuit? I’m reaching here… or maybe I grounded the wrong end of it? I grounded the “axle side.” Should I have grounded the other end?

Okay, I got it to all light up :) thanks again!!
I was hoping that by activating the locker the switch on the axle would switch on the light, so when I engaged the locker it’d light up- when it’s grounded it’s lit up all the time. I may try to set up a micro switch or plunger switch to activate it at the interior handle part.

It should if the locker still pushes the switch when it's locked.

Thanks again man!! After fiddling with it a bit more, I hooked it back up and turns out I just needed to adjust the linkage a smidge.
Now I know, and knowing is half the battle.
