What’s is the biggest tire I can fit with no lift?

    It shifts weird.

    Minivan engine!? WTF?

    Do I need seat jackers?

    Short bed vs. long bed?

    Manual vs. auto?

Not before recommending an oil brand, or oil change interval, which is then followed by the requisite debate which has also been repeated ad nauseam... and then someone will also add some disparaging comment about the Tacoma Sport. :deadhorse:

(I don't know what made me think of that, but it is true. - Surely there is a thread about it - somewhere...)

However. I do find it quite interesting how there is lots of love for the SR and SR5 trims. AND even lots of love for the 2.4 Four-banger.

    - Just saying...

    ...been pondering that one.

But we all love hangin out here at TW!

"It is uncomfortable, it irritates my bunions... and I hit my head every time I get in the thing..."

"This 5,000 pound vehicle accelerates like a 5,000 pound vehicle regardless of how hard I press on the throttle... Which set of steel armour should I buy?"

"My 6-inch lift and 35 inch mud tires make my taco drive horribly. - Why is my gas mileage so bad? I am alway way below the EPA estimates"

"I bought the SR because I could not afford the higher trims... BE sure to follow my build on the 'gram. I've already ordered $35,000 worth of mods and accessories."

"This 6 speed auto transmission taco sucks - it shifts constantly... - Toyota sucks, why does the taco not come with a 10 speed transmission??"

"99% of the time, I drive my Taco on the freeway. Why doesn't toyota put 40" mud tires on these from the factory?"

That was one of my boys. He is stock hight, no lift on 35s with a flat bed. Rear bumper scraped with no damage. There is no way you go play at Sand Hollow without some hitting on the rocks.

I know that episode. The car models they were talking about would have been company issued, back in the days of the UK where company cars were an expected benefit for many office stiffs.

Our current equivalent is what row of the airplane you sit in. Right now I'm somewhere between economy-plus and that-should-have-been-handled-over-Teams-chat.

They did keep the old man truck, even took away the AC doors just to twist the knife a little harder for those of us who have bad backs, what is this? the 90s!? :) now only if they went further back in time, and tossed on manual hubs, t-case, and trans.

Tried looking for that episode but couldn’t find it. It was a Ford or Vauxhall, or something, can’t remember the brand.

We see that on here, some making fun of what people can afford or not. The keeping up with the Jones’s nonsense. Find it quite hilarious.

    That’s it! Thanks!

Yeah the whole level of trim thing is ridiculous, personally would love option out my truck à la carte, but Toyota says no, hell…they won’t even let you order a specific trim, have to do their allocation nonsense. They tell you what you want…

Not crazy about the electric t-case, my truck is still fairly new, it clunks here and there if you’re aren’t careful with it. Where the lever in my 1st Gen you know if it is engaged or not.

Yeah red stands out too much, think the TRD OR on my 1st Gen were all white.

Like the debadged look, even picked up a set of SR5 wheels for my snow tires. Had a guy at a gas station ask what trim it was, an OR with the black flares? or is it a SR5 with those wheels? but the flares aren’t color coded. Nope SR with the SX package, the guy didn’t know that even existed.

Was going to toss in a blackout cheese grater grill but it won’t work with the TSS. (Think I am only the guy who likes that grill)

    Thanks!

Do like the SR grill, makes it look less massive. Never did like the front end on Thurd Gens, at least they fixed it on the Fourth.

Was going to get a cheese grater, unfortunately sensors won’t work. Probably could hack it to, but meh…it’s fine.
