Yup everyone is fine, including the douche that hit me. But because of my trucks age, mileage, rust on rocker panels and new damage from the asshat they said it's probably totaled

Sorry to see that. Glad no one was hurt. Sucks, but the truck can be replaced.

Not sure re the 3G what it stops at. My 2G is the 4 gallons.

Same here, though when my light comes on it's basically at a quarter. I did run it down a tad lower the other day but generally I don't.

WTF! Let me guess, texting on her phone? That's an ass beating!!!!

The 2xs under the wheel track would work well. It would be like what is done on wooden bridges. Using LVLs would be even better. I would also put some supports under the center of the span of each floor joist. Concrete block with wood shims or a built up PT 2x beam if there is enough space.

Well at least you'll get a chance to start from scratch and everyone is ok.OK. strip it down and get the most possible from their insurance. Don't just accept the first offer!

That sucks, sorry to hear. Would you buy it back as a trail rig or too much damage?

I try not to go below half a tank. A habit I developed working during the long New England winters.

My 4Runner has a 23 gallon tank. Years ago, I stopped at a gas station as soon as the light came on. It took 19 gallons of gas to fill the tank. So I had 4 gallons of gas left. So I'm probably good for about ~65 miles after the light comes on. I usually try not to let it get below quarter of a tank though.

I get to be a passenger in a Chevy Colorado today. I don't recommend unless you're a midget. My Fiero was more spacious than this!

I won't. I know it can be a pain in the dick but I know how to negotiate.

Not too much damage but I'll need whatever I can get towards a downpayment. And then some!

Looks like the inside of my 2006 I had. That 'splains it. My wife had just enough room and she's 5 foot 1

Hopefully at least the twatbag got her car totalled too. A little justice.

Anyone ever sell a car to Carvana? Specifically did they pay the full quote or pick apart the car when they came to get it? I have my mom’s 2010 GLK350 that I’m considering selling. It only has 71K on the clock. I may just keep it for myself.

Those are pretty darn good. Reliable motors. Considered it before we got the infiniti but wanted something to tow.
