Congratulations on the new to you Yota! Now you'll have to bring it over to the beach and try it out!

    Yes

For sure. Can't wait. Going to change some things up with it but for the most part I like the way it sits currently

haha I'm slowly installing everything. Audison AP 690 and AP 2 MV have been sitting in a box since October. :bananadead:

Still need to run speaker wire to the front doors and mount the amp.

You are correct and well explained. I am a musician and all of my amp speakers are paper cone. The only drawback is you probably don't want them to get wet. :crapstorm:

These look weird and like they don’t taste that good. I’ll be at my local gas stations looking for a bag later today

After my bed tweaking from a leer 100xl I would definitely recommend stiffeners.

Installed a BAMF dual-swing bumper and Dobinson MRRs all the way around. Previously installed Deaver Stage 3 leafs so she rides like a dream and the stance is perfect. I haven't installed the uprights for the bumper yet because I'm still working out what I'm putting on them. I also rebuilt my CV axles and installed high angle CV boots. In the process of rebuilding the boots I broke one of the bearings off the tri-lobe. Does anyone have a STOCK CV axle they are willing to part with or even better a bearing?? TIA!!

I beg to differ…any after market speaker is a big difference over the factory crap. o_O

How are you liking the dobison? I’m doing my research now on a 2” lift for the taco. That’s high on my list because we have one on my wife’s 4runner. But I’m looking into peak and locked? Anyone have opinions on those?

You are not wrong. My point was that sound dampening definitely is bigger improvement than just aftermarket speakers with no dampening or amplification…

This is a slick system derived from the aviation industry. This is one of those, “now why didn’t I think of this” products. I’ve used this type of tie down system for many years.

**Im actually going to move the two rear points to the middle. Better use of the TotalChaos bed stiffener tie down points

Having only had it on for a day, I am very happy with it. It handles the weight of my doomsday truck very well and isn't jarring when you hit a bump like the stock shocks were.
