So.... I can't be the only one that thinks the radio controls on the steering wheel are wrong right?? Top (up) and bottom (down) should be volume and side to side should change the channels right?? I am constantly changing the song or channel when I actually want to turn the volume up or down. I'm half tempted to take it apart and try to turn the pad... lol

Not wrong. Just oriented to the radio screen. The channel presets are vertical and the volume indicator is horizontal.

It’s actually not wrong .. I thought the same thing then when I started using it more it made sense your thumb just doesn’t work well if it was switched around at least for me .especially if u have your hands on the steering wheel and use your thumb to switch songs it makes u remove your hand a bit to use the right button . So up and down makes more sense to change songs . U don’t use the volume controls as much .

they’re not essentially oriented wrong. You may just be thinking of them wrong.

Think of how the presets would be if you wrote them down on a piece of paper.
The presets would be numbered from top to bottom.

The volume as a wedge is going to run from left to right.

I have an aftermarket Sony XAV-9000 from trailgridpro. They sent me the instructions to flash the maestro device they use in their prewired systems. Whole thing took 15 minutes after downloading the software to my old desktop. Works great, can’t say enough about their customer service/responsiveness.

Dude.... You're just nit-picking. This is about the most 'non-issue' thing I've seen on TW.

For all the things I dislike about my 23 OR, and they're many, I actually like the design, I've had three vehicles with a similar setup.
