Hi all. I’m using my 06 as a daily driver now and having some back issues. I’ve been looking at seat jackers but thinks that’s the issue. My butt is lower than the plain of my legs, I feel if I jacked the back of the driver’s seat I’d be more comfortable. Anyone have any experience with the rear ones?

I have installed seat jackets on both driver and passenger seats.
On my taco and the FJ

I have tried rear only, front only, both, and for the curiosity 2 spacers in front and 0 in rear.

I found it useful to raise the front part of the seats but not the back, for my particular body size and shape.
Plus I do have a pillow for my lower back.

I found that if I install only the rear or both front and back, underneath my legs are not supported by the seat.

Who’s the guy on here who makes spacers for the rear. Popular thread. That’s what I got and it works well.

it changes to a better angle.

not to be confused with other companies that lift both for “storage room” that cost twice as much to not achieve an upgrade.

olecoot I think. One of the first things I did to the truck and fixed discomfort to discomfort. Did passenger side as well. Have been on road trips and drives with other people where the goal was both seats to be comfortable rather than just mine and torture them.

I raised the front only & my back is happy as well as my legs. For reference, I’m 6’4” 300 lb. (Not quite as ripped as Lane Johnson)

I think they are cheap enough I might buy front and back and try them in all configurations except all raised, I don’t need the height, just angle.

I raised the rear of my DS seat probably five years ago. A DYI project after hearing about them and seeing what parts the project entailed. Prior to the lift I was miseralbe while driving, always squirming never really comfortable. Big game changer for me.
