If you ever want a matching 5th there are 3 of those collecting dust in my parents garage. Condition is mediocre but a coat of paint will fix it.

I have stashed away a Kaymar rear bar for a Hilux, which I'm hoping someday I can fit to my Gen 1. I had one of the Australian-built Kaymar bumpers on my XJ for many years. If I fit one to the Tacoma I'm indeed going to be in the market for a fifth alloy wheel, dusty or not!

Kaymar rear bar and tire carrier on my old XJ.

A copy of the rear bar I have as shown on a Hilux it was built for.

    Hey Guys,
Anyone know of a good shop to balance tires? I have big heavy E rated tires. (Falcon Wildpeak's)
Shop where they were installed initially had good balance, but the weights flew off! I took it back to them, and balance wasn't good. Took it to 2 other shops, balance is not good. One flat out admitted they didn't really know what they were doing w/ heavy truck tires. And now another weight is missing..... wtf...... (They tell me "modern weighs aren't made for 16" wheels anymore".. but f-off.. I'm sure someone can balance these and get the weights to stay on)
From some reading about tire shops, I think I need to find a shop who is familiar with balancing heavy truck tires.

    Any suggestions?

yeah... Are those OK for a mostly highway driven vehicle? Unfortunately, the place I go off-roading, is about 2000 miles away, heh.......
I'll have to read about them again.. But last time I looked in to them, there's a reason everyone doesn't use them.

My tires aren't crazy huge. They're pizza cutters.. 32". But heavy load rating, due to the weight of my rig. They're average tires out in colorado and utah.. But here, I've actually been turned away from tire shops! (telle tire).

Any shop that turns away 32s deserves to go out of business.

We can balance them perfectly at Twin City Toyota. Make an appointment, ask for me. I'm the go to off road guy there.

I also do off road alignments, assuming your stuff isn't fubar

    Thanks, I might do that.
I assume you have a road force balancer? My rig is heavy, and it's probably worth balancing w/ some force on the wheels.

What's your name? If I am to believe your forum info I guess there are those who call you...... Timm!
