What’s up guys. I thought I’d start a little build thread for my Tacoma. It’s an 06 240k miles but surprisingly it drives very well so I decided to mess with it because I cannot leave my vehicles alone.

So far I ordered a djm 3/4 kit. I installed moog ball joints. ( should have ordered ball joints already installed djm powder coat prepper needs a permanent vacation) I bought a set of Viking coilovers from summit that should be here today. Found a good deal on some rpf1 wheels with falken rk615s so I popped those on but it looks goofy at the stock height. Found some oem led replica tail lights and installed those today. I may get a portion of the djm kit installed tomorrow before the game. But anyway this is what it looks like so far. IMG_0160.jpg

Rpf1s gunna look sick when it’s dropped a bit. Got the same ones on my Taco. Such a OG style wheel. Can’t go wrong. Looking forward to your build.

Installed the djm kit today. Pretty straight forward. I am not at all impressed with the quality of parts considering how much it cost. But it does look better

That’s not the first time I’ve hear of quality concerns for djm kits.

At least it looks good on the truck, hope it all holds together for you!

Is that with the rear installed as well? I'd have thought it would go down a lot further. Or is that without the rear installed and just the usual rear drop from parking on a sloped driveway?

Also what are the specs on your wheel/tire combo?
