Anyone tried Liquid Moly to quiet down these 3.5 V6's?

    I drive a Miata.
    The problem is that the sound reverberates because it's chambered in the head space. If you open it up to atmosphere, counterintuitively it quiets down. That's why instead of liquid moly, I use holey moly.

    Hahaha… I use Motorkote after every oil change. Is this same as liquid moly treatment? Done it in every vehicle for many years. May be considered a waste, I don’t care. My other vehicles, lawnmowers, weedwackers, quads, and UTVs are now also addicted to this black slimy snake oil (if it is)? I also have it in a can and I spray it on everything.

    I’ve used it since I’ve owned the vehicle and most others….it must surely be why my Tacoma runs so well.
