    Hi all,
I’m using my 06 as a daily driver now and am thinking of upgrading my suspension. I know very little about this subject, be gentle. I don’t go crawling or anything fun, just a suburbanite, is there a way to make it ride a little softer or more like a car? Right now, you know you’re driving a truck, which was fine when it was just my weekender.

Hammer hangers in the rear makes the truck feel more like a vehicle with independent rear system. That's one of the biggest changes of feel you can do to these trucks. Other than that Fox shocks are vlaved to be softer than most others. You could try to score a take off set of pro coliovers from a 3rd gen truck and that would improve your ride.

    Hey there.

What suspension is on it now? If it's all stock stuff, then it's probably as soft as you'll ever get. If it's aftermarket parts, let us know what brand, as some ride much firmer than others, and a good shock and strut changed can help the ride quality a lot.

OK. I'd suggest replacing the struts and shocks with that link I put earlier. 18 year old parts probably aren't cutting it anymore.

Oh I know, but I only used to me home 5-6 months a year so it didn’t get a lot of wear and tear.

If you want soft and are not worried about performance I'd recommend Rancho adjustables, all my experience with them has been super soft
