Thats not too oversized. It should be fine. Maybe look into some mods that will add a little bit of power. I know in stock forms those 2.7s are pretty sluggish

-gear ratio is meant to match tire size
-people with bigger tires change their gear ratio
-define bigger. A millimeter bigger isn’t considered a change in size. 33, 35, 37 is.
-there is little point to be putting bigger tires on a 2.7. Toyota made 4.0 V6’s that lack in power. The 2.7 stock lacks power even more. It was not designed for bigger tires.

    “Is it OK”
Only you will know. By how the truck feels and performs.

Yeah, that's a decent size upgrade. So, depending on what tires you are running. That's a good amount of more weight your trying to turn with the 2TR-FE. I put the tire sizes in online, just for some regular all season tire, they weigh about 24lbs. Stock size that is. Same tire to keep it apples to apples, it weighed in at 35 for your upgraded size. So, if you do the math, that's a extra 44lbs your trying to turn their. And then again, if your running say a bfgoodrich ko2. Add another 20lbs to that. And I do agree with what some of the others said, I could be wrong, but i know usually, if you do decide to regear at some point, since you will be gearing it lower, you more than likely won't have a change in fuel mileage because you will be making the engine turn at a higher speed. Chances are it could be worse.

As for your mpg, your new tires have a 14% bigger circumference than original stock tires.
Multiply your current mpg by 1.14 to get your true mpg.
    Same goes for speedometer readings.
    See attached chart.
