Looking for an OEM or replacement TRD Offroad (AKA Black) Front Bumper Lower Valence to match my new OEM TRD OR fender flares.

Not to be confused with the air dam that we have all removed from our trucks.

My truck is a 2022 TRD Sport.

Located in the Greater August, GA / Aiken, SC area.

If I was okay with not losing my truck's stock components, I would do that or wrap it. But I want to keep my original set in reserve.

Well, wrapping it doesn't sound like a bad option either. You lose nothing and don't have to find a spot to stash it!

I would normally agree with you. However, I have seen horror stories of people wrapping painted plastic components (fenders, bumpers, etc) and over time, the more aggressive adhesives will pull the paint. In an attempt to navigate around that possibility, I'm just sourcing a separate one... This is why I also bought an OEM set of OR fender flares rather than wrapping/painting them.

Where did you get the OE fender flares? Been noodling on making my sport look more like a OR or pro

Scoured FB Marketplace for like a month and got lucky. Some lady replaced her husbands OR flares with some aftermarket ones and sold theirs. Asked $200 and I paid $150... lol

That valence was always the most rock-chipped part of the truck for me. I think I removed it at least twice to rattle-can it with herculiner. Eventually I got tired of doing that and bought a metal bumper for it instead.

And to opine on keeping original parts, that's a great strategy if you plan on exchanging trucks when they are less than three years of age. If you are keeping it for a while longer than that, the part in storage will not match the UV-aged paint of the truck. You'll be better off either sourcing a part when its time to sell or selling it modified. Either one fetches about the same value.

Yeah, I had considered the paint fading. Luckily, my truck is already 2.5 years old. So at least the majority of the fading has already happened. Nonetheless, I feel confident in my strategy and hope that someone has one laying around from doing a metal bumper swap like you mentioned. Fingers crossed for OEM. Lol
