Good evening friends. I have a question. I have been looking to upgrade by current leaf spring set up from an add a leaf to a stronger leaf spring (Deaver stage 2 specifically) for the weight capacity range coverage of 400 to 600 lbs. I recently came across an add for what appears to be a good price for what is described as what I am looking for. The add reads: Tacoma lead Springs Deaver stage II. the seller states he had them on his Tacoma for approx. 25K to 30K miles and was upgrading to stage III. I inquired about the part number and he sent the following. deaver leaf springs part number D10045I20. this part number did not match the current part numbers available for Tacoma stages I-III on the Deaver web page which indicates a U as the heading letter:
    Tacoma 6 Lug 2005-2023 2wd/4wd – Expedition Series Springs 2-inch Lift (Pair)
    Part #: U402.

The seller stated that was the only part indicator and was unsure about the U stage profiles listed on the Deaver web page. My question is, would anyone recommend purchasing a used pair of Deaver leaf Springs that were used on a Tacoma 2021 trd off road 4x4) with an unknown amount of miles and an part number that did not match the current part numbers listed on the Deaver web page? Thank you. Also, I am aware of the cost for new leaf packs and springs and only need the springs, so the cost is a factor for me, so any further advice on the matter would be appreciated.

Ask the seller for a pic of the sticker for confirmation. Should look like this:

How much is he asking? Have you called Deaver and asked them about "D10045I20" and its meaning?

    It’s probably the serial number.

I don't know man @eurowner and I both have "D10045N17" on ours. Perhaps the 5 digit number is the serial.
