The whole trials thing is really cool to me. How did you get into it? I'd love one for cross training into hard enduro.

Our club is pretty well known for trials. This area is also. Probably the most challenging district in the country. The grandfather of trials in the US is a local. He started PTR, Pennsylvania Trials Riders, and the Durty Dabbers is a spinoff/sister club. We have a lot of national champions, loads of knowledge, some pro/champ riders, etc. I recently posted a video on the club FB page of Billy Bolt talking about the benefits of riding trials. Pretty good little clip.

Cus I DEFINITELY needed ANOTHER project o_O.... Deal was too good to pass up and I have a pit bike race for a buddies bday coming up.

Apollo 125cc big tire 4 speed manual.... a bit over spec per our race rules, but its been allowed by the race officiator (bday boy) at a penalty of one beer. Bike seemed to not be used much, was clean, and has essentially brand new Dunlop tires. It does need some work (previous owner had no idea how to get things running right) but its simple and Im about halfway through going through the whole bike and making sure things are proper. Going to weld up an exhaust silencer today as its WAAAY too loud.

Should be able to use it for the weekend for the races, bring it home and sell for at least the same I bought it for if not a bit more.

600 with current registration and pink slip (which is often not a thing on these Chinese bikes here in CA). It was good enough that I wont loose money on it when I go to sell.

no you will fall in love with them. they are super fun little bikes, had one about a year ago. Got it because it didn't run after sitting in a garage all winter... new gas and cleaned the carb up and it was amazing! rode it all over. was an awesome toy, and didn't feel bad when id beat it up. sold it to a friend for like $500 for his son who absolutely fell in love with it for ripping around his property.

Oh I have had pit bikes before when I lived near an area of open land and was younger. They are super fun but around here no where to ride them and being currently a "red sticker" bike it's limited to winter riding on public ohv lands (gotta loooooooove stupid CA laws) though the rules on this are changing but no one seems to know exactly how lol.

If I didn't still have the Grom I'd be inclined to potentially keep it for a newbie loaner bike but eh trying to thin the heard.

    2025 it should be

2022+ MY bikes will either be street legal, green sticker, or straight up confined to private land. No more new red sticker bikes sold.

Any pre-2022 red sticker bikes get grandfathered into the green sticker program in 2025. Until then they remain restricted according to red sticker rules.

wonder how that bike ended up down in Cali, they arent on the "approved list" think even Amazon wont ship them down an yes California everything gives you cancer and the only laws are the ones that make no sense.
