Hi, i have taco tranny issues. Started about 120,000miles. Im 2nd owner. Maintenance always kept up. Said mileage it started having shifting problems and slippage. Code said shift solenoid e. No one could tell me exactly location of e. So i bought all 3 solenoids and replaced them all. Didnt seem to do any good. Also changed gasket, filter and partial fluid at this time. Same issues continued, got worse, til it wouldnt drive anymore. So i replaced the transmission with a teated and guarunteed identicle tranny and am still having same codes and issues. Just not as bad as other tranny yet. As i dont drive it as often or as much as when it was my only transportation. I read how to check and change the fluid and it seems we changed it correctly but didnt no how to cbeck it properly at that time. I kept old tranny with new solenoids in case i needed anything from original tranny. Any help or advise on this subject would be greatly appreciated!! Pics would be of great help also as i do all my own mechanic work. Thank you

When u see the @ sign and a name next to it, it's because someone is sending up the bat signal to that person. I assume gearcruncher will be here soon and help ya along with others.

It's probably a shorted/broken/corroded wire but what exact code(s) and symptoms are you getting and when does the code and symptoms occur?
