Great looking truck, we have the exact same one. I am also debating about keeping it stock or upgrading the suspension and leaf pack as I am putting a camper shell on it. Time will tell and welcome to the Forum.

Same to you sir. Do you have any changes to your truck or is it all stock? I like the way it sits with the camper shell.

I am debating about changing the leaf packs once I get my camper shell but also worried it might be overkill as the bed will be empty except for one weekend of the month.

Stock, since I love how it rides. Might change out the suspension when this stuff claps out, maybe…really don’t want a lift as the seats are about perfect height for my ass getting in and out.

I believe this place started out the same ... But a lot of folks were first genners who kept their rigs or wound up doubling down and getting another Tacoma (like me).. You even had 2 second gens, so you know the deal.

I love it here because it's almost like having a knowledgeable mechanic on hand (mod advice aside). You can literally find out how to do just about anything to modify, troubleshoot, fix, upgrade, or diagnose your truck regardless of year, generation, or trim level.
By far the single best automotive forum I have ever belonged to (and I've belonged to several).

Welcome and congratulations. We all love our SR trim pickup trucks... They aren't glamorous, not all the bells and whistles, but these things are built to last.

MmmmmHmmmmm... The SR suspension is like riding in a sedan .. it's so smooth and forgiving.

You forgot to add meet up with Justin so we can get that tune updated lol. Truck looks good love the basic I like my flares but the truck looks so good without them. Definitely go 235s you won’t regret it made a good difference for me. I wanted to go that rear seat delete but I wasted all my monies on other mods had to make my own came out nice but the fit and finish is not as clean as the goose gear.

Rear sliding window, intermittent wiper switch, center console tray, glove box organizer shelf, WeatherTech front mats and mud flaps, 3D MaxSpider behind-the-front-seats mat, bed lights, MESO climate control rings, XPEL tailgate protection, Desertdoesit.com seat jackers, RAV4 radio knobs, glove box letters.
This looks great! Best thing I did was to make a platform behind my seats.

My wife comments on it every time she goes for a ride with me.

So when it does clap out, might just replace it with the OEM Hitachi it came with. Can find brand new take offs for next to nothing.

Have Old Man Emu on my 1st Gen, that is like a brick. But also had to setup with a camper and such. Not doing that with this truck.

Welcome! Love the new truck. I used to have a 2017 in the same color. Traded it in for a 2019 double cab. Miss that 6 ft bed.

Just a no name brand from a place in PA. It's decent for what it is wish I kept my GFC topper had better seals. This one leaks if it rains hard enough especially the windows. Think I paid 1300 for it.

Hi all from Athens, GA! New member here. 2021 SR V6, 4x4, bought it brand new back in 2020 and have done all mods myself. Would love to do a few more things like bumpers, fog lights, and maybe swap out the suspension eventually. But it gets the job done! Can't wait for a Colorado trip with some buddies come September of this year!

    Heres the build so far:

TRD Pro Grille w/ lights (bought before truck was delivered lol)
Icon Stage 4 lift w/ Tubular UCAs (would not recommend if wanting true 3" lift)
***Had to add 1" Torq spacers on top of Icon coilovers
    Stealth Custom Series BR6 wheels - 17x9 - 38offset
    BFG All-Terrain Tires 285/70R17
    APS Truck Armour Side Steps
    Prinsu Roof Rack
Cali Raised 43" dual LED light bar
Apache Rifle case from Harbor Freight
    Bunker Industries Traction boards
Cali Raised LED mid hight bed rack
Overland Vehicle Systems TMBK roof top tent (bought used from a buddy who makes overland trailers)

Oh! And the entire hood, front clip, and half the fenders are clear bra wrapped. Guys at the shop I used to work at needed a test vehicle for practice.

I obviously love to mod and tinker on my toys myself. Came from the Mustang world where every bit of the car had things I could do to it. Thats what drew me to the Tacoma! Such a vast aftermarket application to make it my own.
