    Hello guys,

My cousin is trying to give me his old rims that are 17x9, +1 offset, 5.04 backspacing and the bolt pattern is 6x135 but I know 2020 Tacomas come with 6x139.7

do you guys think getting 6x139.7 to 6x135 wheel adapters is a good idea? And if yes, what’s the best wheel adapters brand? If you don’t mind showing me the link?

    Thank you for your help!!

I don't think it'll work bolt pattern is different. And adding any kind of wheel adapter or spacer is generally not a good idea. I could be wrong.

Bolting on is only one factor (and a significant one)

The width of the wheel, backspacing/offset and diameter all matter for proper fitment too.

In other words, it can have the right bolt pattern and still not be a proper fit for the vehicle.

Do all the other specs indicate it will fit right? The bolt pattern you mention is like an F150.

There are other forms of modification too. ;)

Compare your wheel specs to that.

If he wants to give you the wheels, take them, sell them, use that $ towards proper fit wheels.

You need hub centric adapters if you go through with it.
