4th gen 12v bed power

    I like the factory 12v power box in the 4th gen bed in the TRD trim level. The rest of the truck I have little interest in. Would love to cut out a piece of the bed and install one if that whole piece will eventually be sold as a part either factory or aftermarket.

    I am betting that Toyota upgraded the factory inverter from 3g to 4g... If you swapped out what you have pictured, you would just have a different plug with no different results at the end; I imagine.

    No that's not the inverter. The inverter is the same on both gens. That's just a 12V bed power terminal. Nothing to do with the inverter.

    Ah, I see. Thanks for the correction. Not used to their being 12V in the back. It's a whole new world out there now with 4g :rofl:
