Long story short i was backing up in that i thought was an empty lot and backed into a small boulder right at my rear bumper. At first i thought i could just replace the cover, but then i looked at it more. How bad? Replace entire bumper, frame damage, do i have to get insurance involved? Thx for all help

Post #22 has a good write-up on replacing the bumper. Post #5 has an exploded view of parts. This might help you decide if you want to do it yourself or get insurance involved. BTW, I damaged the center portion of my bumper the first month I had my truck and that is why I have this link saved.
