Considering doing a 2 inch lift on my 23 SR. New coilovers in front + the needle bearing replacement, new shocks + 2 inch blocks in the rear. Nothing fancy, don't need anything fancy. I've had 3 lifted CJ-7's...2.5 suspension/1 inch body, 4 inch suspension, and 7 inch spring over suspension. But this would be my first lifted Tacoma.

Any of you with a similar setup run into any problems? Vehicle not holding alignment, CV issues, premature wear on suspension items, brake hose problems, etc.?

I have wondered that also. Been going back and forth about lifting my truck since I bought it, but wonder about long term problems.

2” OME lift here. 2887 OME front springs, OME Nitrocharger soft valved shocks, dobinsons medium leafs, stock needle bearing. Removed sway bar. Love the ride.

Had this set up for just over 3 years and zero issues and my truck does not live an easy life.

You might want extended brake lines in the rear, not sure if you'd need them with blocks? We flex tested mine after the lift was installed and it was on the edge with the stock length lines, but I did a whole new leaf pack that has got quite a bit more flex than stock.
