That bumper looks nice and stout and it matches the body lines really well. I saw that vid from TFL Truck last night. I would have though a CV axle, but they showed the front suspension and it didn't look like one was dangling. They weren't even beating on the truck and something let go. It will be interesting to find out what broke.

 

That’s what I was thinking at first too. Maybe one of the rollers in a cv went.

I also wonder what the other tire looked like when that happened.

I’ll post anything I see from the 4th gen thread when the failure is posted or if it is.

Well, I finally got her back. After a hit and run, $28k+, and almost 5 months in the shop. Glad to have her back, Hope everyone is doing well.

Need to learn how to wrench on one of these, at least it has brand new batteries and runs well.

 

Well, update. Just found ANOTHER issue. After being told for third time my truck was completed, I'll be taking it back to the dealership. I guess it's my responsibility to check every nut, bolt, etc. of these "techs". If so, just let me know and put me on the payroll! I have no patience for this type of incompetence, and especially being LIED to regarding the last time I had to return it to them. I'll check back in, when and if I ever get her back. Thanks TW

Any recommendations on a shop or mechanic near Baltimore? Need tie rods, suspension adjustment and potentially some electric wiring installed.

 

Sorry to hear that… really sucks, but I’m the same way. I hate others working on my stuff, and when they do I critique and look over everything. I always expect things to not be done correctly. I hate to ask, but what shop?

Nice! Always been keeping an eye out for a decent (needs work but motor is strong) Yamaha gas powered kart. Few neighbors have them for getting around the hood and through the fields. They are so straight forward and easy to work on, it’ll be fun! Hope you have a blast with the new project!
