What kind of off set are your wheels?, currently have 265/65R17 on a 17×9 -12 wheel thinking about going to a 265/70R17 did you rub on stock suspension?

16 x 8 -10 on 265/75/16's. No rub but tires are old. Don't see how they'll rub with new ones but have a 1.5" in front and 2" in back. I'll definitely be getting mudflaps as I drive on muddy rocky roads A LOT.

    Nice
You'll be fine on -10. My son has -12 and aggressive 265s... No rub

I had to get mudflaps as well.. -25 offset would have caused rubbing. I wound up grabbing the Plasticolor ones

Hey dudes! Been a while since I posted on TW but I got new rims and went bigger on my tires. I got Black Rhino Warlords 17 X9 6-139.70 -12, and Mickey Thompson Baja Boss 33x12.5. I got an alignment at a great place who does lifted Tacos all the time, and have plenty of experience with my SPC UCAs.

I have some pretty significant rubbing going on. Already spoke with a local dude to get a cab mount chop done. Is there anything else I could do to get more clearance? I don't want to be a mall crawler. I like my truck being functional, and this tire/wheel combo looks sick. Pictures of each cab mount below. Upon reinspection, looks like I am rubbing on my front wheel well, as well.

Thanks in advance for any help!

These are all 2nd Gen Tacomas, but I'm trying to find some pictures of the 17x8.5" -6mm FN Wheels Five Star on a 3rd Gen Tacoma for you too. If you're trying to gauge the stance, then fitment / look is very similar between Gen 2 and Gen 3 Tacomas:

Flashing 3rd brake light, infinity tail lights and Alpha Rex Nova black headlights, Seat covers, Mr. hood scoop with 18 inch amber light bar inside. 2 inch lift front/rear. 1.5 inch wheel spacers. Fender flares,
My wheels only were available with 0 offset, so I installed 1.5" spidertrax wheel spacers.(to give it that "wide stance look") I read all the negative comments about the added wear and tear on the wheel bearings, but 20K miles later, no issues. Since I'm always tinkering with my truck, I can keep an eye out on the bearings. Haven't had any alignment or steering issues so far. and love the aggressive look

Yes, I liked the Toyo RT Trail, but only had them on the truck for a couple thousand miles...so I wouldn't be able to tell you how they wear/ride long term. The only reason I swapped them out was to go bigger, with a more aggressive look.

How many are running total chaos uca's with -38 offset wheels? JBA or SPC seem to be recommend the most.
