    Howdy,
So a poor ol guy in dodge ram never saw the red he was speeding towards nor me (the only vehicle in the intersection). He right at the passenger side rear axle. Spun 180 and I landed on the hood of a Chevy cold that was stopped at hit red in the opposite direction of me… broke the axle in two pieces.

so Bla Bla Bla, insurance paid $31k for 100k miles taco and I got a Smoken $34k TRDOR4X lunar rock xtra cab with 17k miles! It’s got lotsa extras and I think paid ~$10k less than it was worth.

my point, Tacoma is a bitchen (and safe!) product, this my 3rd one and I expect to put 300k on it like my 1st 06.

    any suggestions for top upgrades/

    Glad you are OK.

OTT tune to get rid of the gear hunting ... very popular.

Bed mat (Tractor Supply for me, but look elsewhere if you want) to stop the slipping.

A tailgate lock from @christian06 or SaBellCo to prevent theft.

Here is a long list of options, but decide you need the more permanent ones first before altering ... example: 2 inch lift with a CMC and UCA/LCA swap is fairly permanent, and you may not like it.

I'm highly considering an Alu-cab topper. I had an ARE CX priced out and it was more than the Alu-cab.

Congrats! Make sure you change your oil every 5,000 miles or 6 months, whichever comes first. If people tell you to change it at 10,000 miles, put some axle grease in their mouth.

Glad you're ok. Sorry about your old taco. But glad it turned out ok with the new upgrade. Good luck with your rebuild!

OP I hope somebody drove by and said “you can’t park there!” Haha

Also OTT TUNE is the biggest bang for your buck. Highly recommend.

If I had to guess, I'd say your accident took place in Irvine, CA.
