Ugh! That sucks! I bought my truck there. Their Toyota sales department and service have always been great… but have sadly not heard the same of their body shop. Hopefully you can get your issues fixed quickly and painless and even more so quickly!!

 

Dude, I hardly did much but check out some rods and reels (can never have enough)! I knew going in they wouldn’t have my reels (Bates GOAT) in stock. And I had doubts on the rods (Duckett Zeus) being there either. I ended up spending $8. Cheapest trip ever!! But my next online order is gonna be painful, lol!

As for the tank, I stayed dry!! I was a good boy!!

 

Thanks, the best part is, this is turning into a family project. Who knew it only took a golf cart to get the family excited...

Good morning, peeps. It's nice to open the windows to get some fresh air ( and pollen) into the hut. Have any of the Carroll County crowd used any local automotive machine shops? I need to find a decent local one ( if one exists) to go over a few things once I pluck the engine out of the fire wood truck.

 

Only one I've ever used (not local), and it was years ago, was JB's over on Philadelphia Rd. Not sure about now but they did great work at the time.

Might want to stop in Hampstead Performance and ask. With all the stuff he's built over the decades he might have a good suggestion.

 

That's who I used for years.. White Marsh is just out of reach for me to get there during their business hours. Thanks for the suggestion about Hampstead Performance.

 

Took all day but finished with my wife’s Grand Highlander. Tint done the other day and wash, clay polish and ceramic coated done today.

I couldn’t get a really good pic but it’s nice, shiny and pearly in person.

My neighbor Jeff is the owner of Francis Automotive off Main St across from Maggie’s. He is amazing and 100% honest. If it’s something outa my ability or simply don’t have the equipment to handle, he gets it done. Not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive either. Michelle runs the front office and is super friendly and honest. They’ll let you know what you need, what can wait but keep an eye on and what do you want to accomplish. Best part is they never try an up-sell ya!

Also, Aaron is the owner of Bowen Auto on Main Street. He has done lots of work for my self and my old boss Matt Barnes (Jeff Barnes Chevrolets) son. He is also very fair priced and honest.

Sadly, those are the only two I’d recommend.

 

I remember there was an electrician in here, which one of y'all was that? I have a couple ideas and questions I'd like to bounce off someone regarding running power outside away from the house

 

Not an electrician… but have run electric outside from the panel in garage to get it over to the shed. Nothing major, just to power four ceiling lights and 4 receptacles.

What are you trying to accomplish?

 

Trying to plan for a greenhouse/shed that I may want to run power to, if not using solar and batteries.

Also, I am trying to explore ideas to run power out to the end of my driveway. As I u derstand it, I'll meed co duot, which would likely need to be buried below the frost line. Not sure how I have to run it into the panel or anything though
