    Hi guys,

Just purchased a 2023 TRD Sport 4x4 ACLB. Looking to upgrade suspension/tires.

Been doing a lot of research the past few weeks led to me to the Eibach Stage 2r Pro Truck Coilover kit and the Bilstein 6112s and 5160s.

As for my weight, rig, and tire plans, I am looking to put a on snugtop campershell and buildout a wood sleeping setup, looking at 200-300lbs of static gear in the truck constantly, but not much more. I am debating between 265/70/17s and 275/70/17s KO2s.

Would love to get opinions on Eibach 2.0s vs the 6112s. Although I know most if not all coilovers in this price range provide a stiffer than stock upgrade. I am planning on hitting washboards and some mild-moderate trails 1-2 times a month, with camping and a bit of overlanding in betweeen. I know I will most likely be very satisfied with how both shocks handle off-road conditions, but I am looking for a smooth daily driver as well.

I heard the 6112s can be a bit stiff, but the 2.5inch shock body is appealing. The combo of degressive/linear valving on the Eibachs is appealing as I have heard (from shocksurplus cusotmer service) that the Eibachs provide a smoother ride on road.

Looking to lift the front about 1.5inches and keeping the back ride height stock for now, may adjust later due to weight in the rear. Leaning towards 265/70s for MPG and weight reasons

Would love your guys thoughts and opinions.

    Thanks

I’ve not run Eibach shocks but have run Bilstein on several trucks of mine including my current 2nd gen. Personally I like a digressively valved shock. I like the firmer ride on the road and the way they absorb larger bumps at speed.
