Missing power steering cooler

Hello fellas
New to the forum, first time owning a tacoma.
Just got a 2017 trd sport 4x4 auto trans. A few months ago. I just installed a low profile bumper but noticed I'm missing the power steering cooler. Is this common? I don't see any hack job or anything and my truck doesn't have any accidents. The lines seem to be oem but I noticed all if not almost all tacomas have a ps cooler.
Would be great if some you could tell me if it is OK to not have it and if it's normal. Consider I live in Mexico so my truck is a Mexican trd sport (only 3rd gen trim offered here)

No it doesn't, the lines are the ones that don't run through a cooler, they are oem btw, I don't know if I Mexico some tacomas don't come equipped with it or it was removed by the previous owner. I just want to know if I really need it

 

Lines through cooler is transmission cooling. Maybe they ran out of parts at assembly and left that version without power steering and external transmission coolers. Expensive to add the missing OEM parts.

 

If you want to add one, it isn't so big of a job, and you don't need to use OEM. A Hayden unit and ten feet of hose would be less than $100 US and takes about 20 minutes to install in your driveway. Good excuse to change the PS fluid too if you haven't.
