Turns out I have perhaps the lightest model they ever made, and I'm having trouble spec'ing a lift kit. Standard contender is the Bilstein BK9504, but reading the fine print:

** This lift is not recommend for Standard cab or Tacoma's with a 4 cylinder 2.7L engine size. Ride quality can be quite firm and you will achieve more than 3" of lift. **

With the 4 banger and standard cab, not sure what my options are. I have reached out to ToyTec for some support but figured I would poll the forums as well. In all honesty, I am just hoping to improve handling, not going to be doing any offroading.

    Has anybody figured this out?

Leveling kit, hydro dipped rims & skid plate on 2013, 6” pro comp lift & color matched rims on 2006.
My daughter’s truck has a leveling kit. The front was already raised when we bought it. I hate the squat look so I had an off-road shop install 1or 2”blocks in the rear. It handles just fine.
