    My question is how much camper can I handle safely with my 2021 double cab 2WD SR5 toyota tacoma with towing package. Anyone have experience with this?

    I drive a Miata.
    Realistically, take 60% of your listed towing capacity and call that your maximum GTWR. Campers are fun but they can't beat physics- they will abuse a truck like no other kind of trailer.

    Some people pull more, others pull less. But the people who keep their gross weight under 4k are the happiest about it.

    There are lots of examples why on the towing forum.
