    Hungry Valley: The continuation of West Freeman Trail just past Vic’s Cat Trail? According to the map it continues a bit.

    I started on the trail with too much damn excitement. River rock, dips, loose stuff, TRAC doing its thing. I could feel the truck biting in. And then it started to look a little daunting up the trail…I stopped at the place I felt I had the best chances of turning around. Took it out of 4WD, and got it turned around using ALSD, and at the end the rear locker which gave me just enough more traction and wiggle room.

    It didn’t have a designation, or at least I didn’t see one. Man, that trail looks like a lot of fun for a stocker. Im curious if there is room to turn around at the end? There must be!!!

    Damn, looks like Im going to have to grab the pist off Bull by the balls! Unless I see a Ranger on the way, lol. I can dig surprises, so walking it to scope it out doesn’t sound like fun to me, but I might do it. I can’t find anything on youtube. Everything in that area that I researched was Vic’s Cat Trail. Which is designated black. Im sure that trail is also. The picture I took was heading back down, VCT is on the right. This was the easy part. From there on up it started to work the Taco’s stock suspension settings and TRAC pretty good.

    Btw, the Bilstein 6112’s are bad ass. Before swapping, the Taco would have some big thumps when the front end would suddenly drop. Big hits against the stops. Since swapping to the Bilstein’s, that has not occurred. Just a soft landing without hitting the bump stops, and springing back up. Good stuff for a stocker.

    @Moto521

    “I used to ride dirt bikes at HV alot. Pretty sure I've explored the whole park.
    I have ridden that to the end. You are not going to be able to get very far up that dead end canyon in a truck or SxS.”

    I thought you answered as I got an email about the thread. I apologize if you erased it.

    I saw another video where some Land Cruisers got up as far as the fork. But that was 8 years ago. The same with this moto video, 8 years ago. The rains the last couple of years I’m sure have done a number. A lot of river rock and undulations. It looked a lot different than the videos. Like this moto video where they were heading out and stopping at the VCT gate. Had they done that, they would have high sided for sure.

    Hey, sorry about that. I posted before I watched that video. It's been years since I have ridden there, and I didn't remember it being so "wide". I does continue to get smaller and smaller to where it deadends.I have rode to the end, then hiked as far a possible.

    All good hometown. It doesn’t look like the videos I posted either. I went up a bit before sense prevailed, and it didn’t look as wide. I barely was able to turn around. The rear view camera helped a ton. I did a lot of river rock wheeling when I had my 2012 OR at the Lockwood Valley wash. It’s brutal.

    Nonetheless, thank you for the response. All intel shared is greatly appreciated.
