Brake light Wire location

2023 Tacoma, where does the 3rd brake light wire go to the roof at?

Before I start removing panels and looking I wanted to ask, maybe save some time and head ache. I’m not sure if it goes up the driver A pillar or driver B pillar.

 

driver side to rear passenger, up the corner then across to lamp

 

I’m a little confused. I figure it can up driver side but not sure front, middle or rear pillar.

 

You are trying to tap the wire to tap the 3rd Brake Lamp, correct?

 

yes, however I’m looking to do it alot lower than pulling the light and running a wire down the pillar.

 

Forget the pillars, use the Body ECU connector 1H.

What for is ya tapping into it?

 

Toggle switch so when the shell is on it does not reflect off it and blind me reflecting back into the cab.

Somewhere on the forum, there's the whole file. No specific to a 2023 though.

 

I did find one but it was saying the number 1 wire was a door lock. So I don’t think I found the correct one.
