I've seen one driving around town, but that's about it.

I like the idea, but I'm not crazy about the look of the angled pieces. They would get in the way while loading stuff from the sides. Anyway, this member had their rack and rear bumper, but he hasn't been active since 2018:

Yeah I think it just looks cool but you're right about having issues getting access to the bed on the side. Plus also it doesn't look like you can mount anything on there like Rotopax or any other accessories. I guess just like the radical look.

I recently purchased an Ecotehne roof rack from 4wdadventures, and I'm extremely disappointed with my experience. From the moment I installed the rack on my vehicle, it was clear that the quality was far from what I expected. Within just a week of installation, I noticed rust forming on several pieces and bolts, a clear sign of poor material quality that's unacceptable for outdoor equipment, especially a roof rack exposed to various weather conditions.

Adding insult to injury, the package arrived with missing hardware, making the installation process even more frustrating. I had to source the missing parts myself, which delayed the use of the rack and added unexpected costs to what I had already paid.

However, what truly made this experience negative was the customer service—or, more accurately, the lack of it. I sent several emails to 4wdadventures seeking assistance for the issues I encountered, hoping for a resolution or at least some guidance. Sadly, my efforts to reach out were met with complete silence. No response whatsoever, leaving me feeling ignored and devalued as a customer.

This lack of accountability and customer support is simply unacceptable. It's one thing to receive a product that does not meet expectations, but it's entirely another to be left in the dark when seeking help. My experience with the Ecotehne roof rack and 4wdadventures has been thoroughly disappointing, and I caution potential buyers to think twice before purchasing from them. Poor quality products combined with non-existent customer service is a recipe for dissatisfaction.
