Not sure of the correct verbage, but I was driving in mixed Snow and Rain yesterday, nothing major, when I stopped to pick up Mail. Upon restarting the truck, 2021 TRD Off Road, the Dash display read Collision Control Not Available, this went back to the normal display with the Speedometer after about a minute. At the lower side of the display, there was a symbol in Yellow/Orange with a vehicle and a forward pointing arrow. This remained until I turned the truck off a few minutes later and restarted it. Then it was gone

    Any ideas what this means?

Grille sensor was covered in snow at some point and then it melted off

Dirty/obstructed sensor due to the weather. If the sensor fails its built-in-test, it will turn off the system. Nothing out of the ordinary

A few minutes of driving in the salt-pans of Death Valley temporarily blocked the collision sensor for my truck. Snow and rain can "occlude" the surface of the camera/sensor.

When it comes online again, clean it fully to remove remaining material.

If the camera sensor high in the center of the windshield is obstructed by dirt or cracked glass the truck will throw the same error. It’s usually the grille radar though

Yep, happened to me, same sloppy snow on the sensor. I just hit the back button until I could clean it

you will also find that cruise control adaptive feature is disabled until that sensor is clean. but non-adaptive cruise control will still work.

Same thing happened to me the other week in snow and slush. It's also happened to me when driving in a heavy downpour the other summer. It goes away so nothing to be worried about but the first time I ever seen that warning I got a but worried. Also in the rain storm incident it turned off the adaptive cruise.

    Stepping up on soapbox ...

There is a significant correlation between the times that the sensors cannot work and weather that demands my attention for safety.
