    Re-use, they are pricy and clean up nicely most of the time.

    Only time I toss them is high mileage, or rusty. Try to take a picture of the shim through the spoke and we can help.

    I always replace the shims and w springs just cause I’m there already.

    From what I understand, oem pads do not come with shims, so you reuse the oem ones, or buy new ones if damaged. Aftermarket pads will come with shims as needed. Some pads have anti rattle technology built into the pads so you dont need shims on those.
