1995 2.7 starts then dies. Help!

    1995 red Tacoma 4x4 2.7 113,000 mi.
    matching no window canopy, nerf bars.
    I drove my 1995 toyota 4x4 5 spd 3 hours ago, it ran perfect. 3 hours later the truck dies as soon as it starts w/o acceleration. With acceleration the engine starts reved but instantly idles down and dies. 1/2 tank of fresh gas in it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. milage is 116,000
