I have a weird noise coming from the front left of the vehicle. Took it into the shop twice now and since the noise is inconsistent the techs stated they can’t diagnose it. Bearings, suspension and CV axle were checked and everything was deemed safe and not broken or damaged. The noise is cyclic in nature and sometimes goes away with mild braking and slowing down. The noise is engaged after hitting a bump most times.

Do you have 4x4? If so does the noise go away when switching to 4Hi?

I just tested in 4H and still had this cyclic noise. I’m trying to upload a video of it but it wouldn’t let me. It seems to still only get engaged by hitting a bump. Sounds like a needle bearing by the video posted here but like I said it still has the sound when I switch to 4H. For some reason it isn’t letting me upload a video of the sound.

I also got another opinion from a family friend that it could be the CV support bracket.
